Easy Readers | Level 1

Because each publisher has their own way of leveling books, we use a standard leveling system at the library to provide more consistency for beginning readers looking for just-right books.

Easy Reader Level 1 books have about 1-10 words per page. A few of our favorite series for this level are I Like to Read and Ready to Read.

If you find a book you like, try clicking on the author name or series name to find similar books. Keep in mind that each series has different levels and that authors sometimes write for multiple age groups, so click on the title and scroll down the page to make sure you're getting an Easy Reader!
